This G-Tools irrigation kit turns a 1.1 x 1m ebb & flow tray into a fully automated feeding system. It suits growers running multiple small pots in hydro or larger plants in soil who want consistent, unattended watering.

The kit covers everything needed to automate feeding on a 1.1 x 1m or 1.1 x 0.63m G-Tools ebb & flow tray. The 36-litre tank sits directly under the table, keeping the footprint tight. You mix your nutrient solution in the tank once, and the GT 800 pump handles delivery from there. No additional reservoir or external pump is required.

In ebb & flow mode, the pump floods the tray at timed intervals. Plants draw solution up through holes in the base of the pots during each flood period. When the pump cuts out, the liquid drains back through the outlet and returns to the tank below. The inlet tap controls how quickly the tray fills; the outlet tap governs drain-back speed and therefore how long roots stay in contact with the solution. This method suits dense canopies of small pots in clay pebbles or similar media.

Prefer soil or coco? Swap to drip mode. Click the supplied drippers onto the supply line and push at least one into each pot. The pump delivers a metered dose directly to each plant's root zone every time the timer fires. Because run times are short - often just one to two minutes per cycle - a digital timer with minute-by-minute resolution is strongly recommended. We stock compatible digital timers if you need one.

Pair this kit with a G-Tools grow table and matching ebb & flow tray to get a ready-to-run hydroponics station. Add a quality EC and pH meter to monitor your 36-litre reservoir, and top it up between cycles to maintain consistent nutrient strength. Grower’s Note: With ebb & flow, flood frequency matters more than flood duration. In clay pebbles, two to four short floods per day is usually sufficient under high-output LED; increase frequency during peak summer temperatures when the medium dries faster. Always check that your drain-back tap allows the tray to empty fully within 20-30 minutes - standing water beyond that risks root zone oxygen depletion. Rinse the tank and lines with clean water between nutrient changes to prevent salt build-up blocking the GT 800 pump inlet.
