The rack holds two full-sized ebb and flow trays, each 2 m × 0.8 m, giving you 3.2 m² of growing surface across two levels. That is enough space to run meaningful crop rotations or grow multiple species simultaneously. The structural frame is designed to carry loaded trays, a reservoir, and lighting hardware without compromise.

Beneath the bottom tier sits a dedicated bay for a 150-litre water tank. A pump draws nutrient solution up to the trays on a timer; when the pump cuts out, gravity pulls every drop back into the reservoir. This classic ebb and flow cycle keeps roots oxygenated between feeds and eliminates standing water in the growing medium.

Expansion is straightforward. Additional tiers bolt onto the existing frame, so you can grow the system as your production needs increase. Start with two or three floods per day under artificial light and adjust based on how quickly your growing medium dries. Coconut fibre or perlite-based media drain cleanly back to the reservoir and resist compaction over repeated cycles, which matters when you are running the same rack continuously.
