These terms apply to every order placed with Hydroponics UK. Please read them before you buy. Ordering means you accept them.
Hydroponics UK is a trading name of Circle Online LTD.
Your order is an offer to buy. We confirm receipt by email. That email is an acknowledgement, not acceptance.
A contract exists only when we dispatch the goods, or tell you the order is accepted. If we cannot supply an item, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
Prices include VAT at the current UK rate. We show the price you pay at checkout before you confirm.
We check prices carefully. If an item is priced wrongly by an obvious error, we do not have to supply it at that price. We will contact you, and you can confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
We accept credit cards, debit cards and PayPal. Payment is taken when you place the order. Our payment provider handles card details on their own secure systems.
Delivery is free to UK mainland addresses on every order. Lead times are shown on each product page, because they vary by supplier.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods. You then have a further 14 days to return them.
Our own returns policy is more generous. We accept returns for 30 days from delivery. See our returns and refund policy.
The statutory right does not apply to goods made or configured to your specification.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they are not, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.
Please check your delivery on arrival. Tell us about damage or shortages within 48 hours, so we can raise it with the carrier.
Many products carry a manufacturer guarantee. The length varies by brand and is stated on the product page. A guarantee is in addition to your legal rights, not instead of them.
Grow lights, fans and pumps are mains electrical equipment. Install and use them to the manufacturer's instructions. If you are not sure, use a qualified electrician.
You are responsible for making sure your use of our products is lawful.
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.
We do not supply goods for business use. If you buy for a business, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.
We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event happens, we will contact you and agree a new date, or refund you.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
We may update these terms. The version published when you order is the version that applies.
