Every extension set raises your rack by 405mm. That is enough headroom for compact vegetating plants or a dedicated propagation level. If your ceiling allows it, you can keep stacking extensions indefinitely, turning a two-tier rack into three, four, or more without buying a new base unit.

The set ships with a full tray frame sized for the 0.52 x 0.52 ebb and flow tray and four uprights. Installation is straightforward: the uprights slot into the existing rack structure and the frame locks in at the new height. No drilling, no additional brackets.

One detail worth noting is the dual purpose of the frame rails. They also serve as the light-hanging points for the tier directly below. This means that when you add an extension, you simultaneously gain a clean, adjustable mounting position for an LED panel on the level underneath. Grower’s Note: In a tiered rack system, the lower levels typically receive less radiant heat from lighting, so overnight temperatures can drop faster there. Monitor each tier independently with a small thermometer and consider a gentle clip fan per level to keep air circulating evenly across all canopy surfaces.
