G-Tools Height Extension Set for Grow Rack 1.1 x 0.63m

This extension set converts your existing G-Tools 1.1 x 0.63m grow rack into a multi-tier vertical farm. It suits any grower who has ceiling height to spare but no room to spread outward.

Vertical space is often the most wasted resource in an indoor grow room. This kit lets you reclaim it. Each extension tier sits directly on top of your existing G-Tools 1.1 x 0.63m rack, adding 405mm of grow height per level. Because the footprint never changes, you double or triple your canopy area without rearranging ducting, drainage, or power runs.

The frame is engineered specifically for the matching ebb and flow tray. It drops in without modification. The upper frame rails also serve as the light-hanging points for the tier below, so your lighting stays properly positioned as you build upward. There is no need for separate hanging hardware on each level.

Setup is straightforward. The four uprights locate onto the existing rack structure, the new frame sits across them, and the tray drops in. Adding a second or third tier follows the same process. Plan your build before you start: measure your ceiling height, subtract the base unit height, then divide by 405mm to find how many tiers fit with safe headroom for plants and lights.

Pair each new tier with a Sanlight LED panel sized for the 1.1 x 0.63m canopy. Sanlight publish PPFD figures for each model, so you can match output to your target crop before buying. Leafy greens and herbs thrive at lower PPFD targets and suit compact tier spacing. Fruiting plants need more headroom per tier and higher light intensity, so factor that in when planning your tier count.

Grower’s Note: In a multi-tier rack, each tier creates shade for the one below. Keep this in mind when selecting light output and positioning. Tiers running leafy crops at 200-300 µmol/m²/s need less vertical clearance than fruiting tiers targeting 600 µmol/m²/s or above. Map your PPFD requirements and plant canopy height before committing to your final tier count.
