The G-Tools Bonanza 1m² is a purpose-engineered grow cabinet built around a genuine one-square-metre canopy. It suits hobbyist growers who want a tidy, discrete, space-efficient setup for vegetables and herbs at home.
The Bonanza 1m² occupies 176cm of wall width, 78cm of floor depth and stands 118cm tall. That footprint is large enough for a serious herb or vegetable crop yet small enough to sit in a spare corner, utility room, or garage. The sliding door design is a practical advantage here: both panels retract without demanding extra clearance in front of the cabinet.
Construction centres on aluminium profile extrusions joined by plastic insert connectors, with PVC/XPS sandwich panels filling every wall. These panels are light-reflective on the interior face and thermally insulating throughout. The result is a cabinet that holds temperature more consistently than a standard tent and generates noticeably less noise bleed to neighbouring rooms.
Ventilation relies on negative pressure. When your extractor fan runs and the doors are shut, the cabinet draws fresh air passively through six labyrinth-style inlets at the base of the rear wall. Each inlet blocks light entirely while allowing continuous CO₂-rich air exchange. The extractor itself is not included; a fan sized for the cabinet's volume and an appropriate carbon filter are the first accessories to budget for.
G-Tools designed two companion products specifically for this cabinet: the G-Bars 170 LED grow lamp and a 3-in-1 irrigation system. The cabinet overhead rail accepts two G-Bars 170 units, giving approximately 340W of LED output across the 1m² canopy - a sensible match for fruiting vegetables or a dense herb crop. Pair the irrigation system with that lighting and you have a near-automated environment that needs only occasional monitoring.
Grower’s Note: A 1m² cabinet at this height works well with compact or trained plants. Top-feeding or low-stress training from an early stage keeps the canopy even and within the lamp's optimal distance. Monitor humidity carefully in a sealed insulated cabinet; VPD management matters more here than in a vented tent because air exchange is slower and more controlled.
