The Prima Klima PK1608 WHSPEC is a full-size carbon filter built for serious extraction setups pulling up to 1440 m³/h. If you are running a large grow room with multiple lights and need reliable odour control, this is the filter to match.

This filter is designed for grow spaces where airflow demands are high. A 160mm flange pairs directly with 160mm inline fans - think units in the 800-1440 m³/h range. Running it at the optimal 1100 m³/h gives the air enough dwell time in the carbon bed to strip odours effectively. Pushing it hard to the 1440 m³/h maximum is possible, but expect a shorter carbon lifespan.

At 1000mm tall, the filter body houses a generous volume of activated carbon. More carbon means more surface area for air to pass through, and that translates to better odour adsorption over longer periods. This is particularly important in warm environments where volatile compounds are more active and harder to control with a smaller filter.

Installation is straightforward. The 160mm flange connects directly to compatible ducting. At 13.7 kg it is manageable for a two-person hang, and the weight is well within the load ratings of most grow tent hanging bars when distributed correctly. Always use ratchet hangers rated above the filter weight and add a small margin for the fan and ducting load.
