Prima Klima PK1603 Industry Carbon Filter 360 m³/h
Double-carbon Industry filter rated at 360 m³/h, built for high-humidity grow rooms that demand longer filter life.
Key Features
- Rated airflow: 360 m³/h
- Activated carbon fill: double the quantity of an equivalent Eco-line filter
- Industry series - heavier-duty than standard Eco-grade units
- Improved performance in high-humidity environments
- Extended operational lifespan compared to single-charge filters
- Reduces total filter waste through longer service intervals
- Compatible with 125 mm and 150 mm inline extraction fans
- Suitable for medium-sized grow rooms and enclosed tent systems
The Prima Klima PK1603 Industry filter is a serious step up from budget carbon filtration. It suits growers running humid environments or demanding extraction systems where a standard filter would degrade too quickly.
Carbon filters fail in two ways: they run out of capacity, or humidity ruins them early. The PK1603 Industry series addresses both problems directly. It packs in twice the activated carbon of an equivalent Eco-line unit, which raises both the odour-absorption ceiling and the filter's resistance to moisture saturation.
At 360 m³/h, this filter is well matched to medium-sized grow rooms and tents. Pair it with a fan delivering the same rated airflow - a 125 mm or 150 mm inline fan depending on your setup. Running the fan slightly below its maximum speed reduces noise and extends both the fan and filter life considerably.
The doubled carbon charge is particularly valuable in flowering rooms, where resin production increases VOC load sharply. Growers using CO₂ enrichment, high-intensity lighting, or enclosed recirculating systems will notice the difference in filter longevity over a 6-12 month crop cycle.
For installation, mount the filter at canopy height or above where warm, odour-laden air naturally collects. Connect it to your fan with a short section of acoustic ducting and a matching flange collar. Keeping the duct run straight and short preserves the rated 360 m³/h performance at the filter face.
Grower’s Note: In grow rooms where relative humidity regularly exceeds 60%, standard activated carbon becomes saturated faster, and odour control degrades well before the carbon is chemically exhausted. The additional carbon mass in an Industry-grade filter buys meaningful extra months of effective service under those conditions. Monitor your filter by smell, not by a fixed calendar schedule - replacement timing varies significantly with humidity and plant load.
