The Prima Klima PK K2602 is a 620 m³/h carbon filter built for serious indoor growers who refuse to compromise on air quality or odour control. It suits anyone running a medium-sized grow space, particularly those using the G-Tools Bonanza 1 m² cabinet with a 125 mm fan setup.
Carbon filtration is not an area to cut corners on. Odour control is typically the single most critical factor when planning an indoor grow. A filter that fails early or passes smells is a real problem. The PK K2602 uses only virgin activated carbon - material that has never been used in any prior industrial process. That matters because recycled carbon carries residual saturation, which shortens its effective working life from day one.
The science behind carbon filtration is straightforward. Activated carbon has an enormous internal surface area packed with microscopic pores. As air passes through, odour molecules, dust particles, and other airborne contaminants adsorb onto the carbon surface. They bond to it and stay there rather than recirculating into your grow space or home. The PK K2602 maintains this performance reliably for up to 8 months before the carbon bed needs replacing.
For pairing, this filter is designed to work with 125 mm inline fans, including the GT 125 range available in our store. Match the fan speed to your room volume and ensure your extraction rate turns over the grow space air at least once every 1 to 3 minutes for best results. In a 1 m² cabinet with a typical 2 m ceiling height - a 2 m³ space - a 620 m³/h rated system gives you enormous headroom for heat and humidity management.
If you are running a G-Tools Bonanza 1 m² cabinet, this filter is confirmed to fit correctly within the unit. That compatibility removes guesswork from your build. Position the filter at the top of the cabinet where warm, humid, odour-laden air naturally rises. Connect it to your inline fan using a short length of ducting and a clip or jubilee clamp for an airtight seal.
Grower’s Note: Replace your carbon filter on schedule regardless of whether you can still detect odours. Carbon beds saturate gradually and often lose effectiveness before the smell breaks through completely. In high-humidity environments - above 70% RH - carbon degrades faster, so monitor your conditions carefully and consider replacing at 6 months rather than 8 if your grow space runs warm and wet.
