Size the cabinet by plant count and final canopy height. A 0.35m² box at 176cm tall suits 1 to 5 short, trained plants. The 1m² cabinet at 176 × 118 × 78cm holds 2 to 10. Both stand at fridge or wardrobe height, so check the ceiling and the doorway you carry it through. Sliding doors on the 1m² need no swing clearance, which helps in a tight corner or loft.
Heat is the main thing to manage in a sealed cabinet. The 0.35m² Clima extraction is rated for lights up to 250W; the 1m² Clima handles up to 600W. Keep your lamp under that ceiling and the fan copes easily. Add a grow light sized to the footprint. Then train plants low with topping or LST to fit the fixed interior. If you want hands-off feeding, the 3-in-1 irrigation system removes the daily watering routine.
We sell a lot of empty shells to growers who already own a fan and light. It is the cheapest way in. That said, the Clima box is the one we recommend most often.
