The Hortione 420 is a high-efficiency full spectrum LED built for flowering and fruit-bearing plants. Its 420-diode array suits growers who want one lamp that performs across veg and flower without swapping units.
At its core, the Hortione 420 combines 408 Seoul Semiconductor 3500K LEDs with 12 Osram Oslon Hyper Red diodes. The 3500K colour temperature sits in a warm white band that supports both vegetative stretch and early flower development. The Oslon Hyper Reds push deep red energy at the wavelengths plants use most heavily during bud and fruit set. Together they form a practical, broad spectrum that covers the full crop cycle.
Efficiency is rated at 2.9 µmol/J. That figure matters because it tells you how much useful photosynthetic light you receive for each watt consumed. Measurements taken at 30 cm above the sensor in a G-Tools Bonanza 0.35 and a Bonanza 1m² cabinet show even PPFD distribution across the cultivation area. The large reflector surface is a key reason for that uniformity - it redirects light outward rather than letting it concentrate directly below the fitting.
One Hortione 420 is the correct choice for the G-Tools Bonanza 0.35 grow cabinet. For the larger Bonanza 1m² you will need two units. The daisy-chain feature makes pairing two lamps straightforward - you run one power connection and link the second lamp off the first. A dedicated dimmer accessory is available separately, which is worth considering if you want finer control during early seedling stages or during the last weeks before harvest.
The Hortione 420 is particularly well matched to flowering crops: tomatoes, chillies, and similar fruit-bearing plants respond well to its Hyper Red enriched spectrum. If you are running a G-Tools Bonanza cabinet, this lamp is the intended companion and the PPFD data supports that pairing directly. For growers outside the Bonanza range, measure your canopy area and confirm the footprint coverage before purchasing.
Grower’s Note: With a warm 3500K dominant spectrum, the Hortione 420 encourages compact internodal spacing during veg and supports strong flower initiation. Keep the lamp at the manufacturer-recommended 30 cm above the canopy to stay within the measured PPFD window. If you dim the light during the seedling stage, raise it back to full power once plants enter pre-flower - Hyper Red diodes are most effective when running at rated output.
