Automatic Watering System Starter Kit for 8x6 Greenhouse

The 8x6 Starter kit combines two Tray2Grow modules with six individual 1Pot trays. Each 1Pot tray has a 15L pot. These individual pots suit bushy crops, including peppers, chillies and aubergines.

For seed trays, pots, microgreens and salad crops, the greenhouse watering kit has six Tray2Grow trays. In an 8x6 greenhouse, this AutoPot automatic greenhouse irrigation system suits that growing plan.

Tray2Grow accepts pots, seed trays, grow bags or a compatible fabric planter. This gives you several growing formats alongside the six supplied pots.

A separate water butt or reservoir feeds the trays by gravity. No pump, mains water connection or electricity is required.

AQUAvalve5 manages watering automatically. Each tray receives a shallow 20mm layer of water before the valve shuts. When the plants have used that water, the valve reopens and refills the tray.

What you still need

You need one external water butt or reservoir of at least 200L. It is not included in this kit.

Supply seed trays, grow bags or a compatible fabric planter separately if you choose these Tray2Grow formats.

Leave room for any reservoir placed inside the greenhouse. Accommodating it may require removing one or two modules.

How to set it up

1. When laying out the modules, we recommend a firm, level surface. Every tray must sit flat.
2. Raise the external water butt or reservoir 150mm / 6 inches above the system.
3. Hand-water after first potting up. Wait 7-28 days for the roots to establish before starting automatic watering.
4. Flush the pipework weekly.
