Automatic Watering System Essential Kit for 8x6 Greenhouse

This 8x6 Essential kit uses 10 25L pots for crops with larger root systems. Each pot has its own 1Pot XL tray. The larger pots give roots more room and suit peppers, chillies, aubergines and other bushy crops.

Ten 1Pot XL modules make up the growing layout of this greenhouse watering kit. This AutoPot automatic greenhouse irrigation system suits larger-rooted crops within an 8x6 greenhouse.

A separate water butt or reservoir supplies water to the trays by gravity. There is no pump, mains water connection or electricity to arrange.

AQUAvalve5 handles automatic tray watering. It fills each tray to a shallow 20mm water depth, then closes. The next fill begins once the plants have used the previous water.

What you still need

You need one external water butt or reservoir with a capacity of at least 200L. It is not included.

Allow room if you keep the reservoir inside the greenhouse. You may need to remove one or two modules.

How to set it up

1. We recommend a firm, level surface for the XL trays. Check that every tray sits flat.
2. Place the external water butt or reservoir 150mm / 6 inches above the system.
3. Water by hand when you first pot up the plants. Allow 7-28 days for root establishment before starting the system.
4. Flush the pipework every week.
